I think a lot of people are connected to someone who had a title maybe a lesser noble in their family line but not like a true “ long lost royal bloodline “. I’ve done extensive family research for myself and multiple people and the only actually legit it royal connection that I’ve found that a complete unbroken chain of records like you put it was 1 family that was connected to a lessor French knight

What if 75-80% of your tree goes back to Scottish, Irish, welsh, and Norman royal families? 😂 I call that a good indicator

This happened to my family and I had to break the news. 😂😂 We thought we descended from polish royalty with a family crest and all, but it was just a land deed situation that came with a title you could buy

Only one person I know I’m related but not a decendent. Someone from the line on my mom’s side married INTO the Robert the Bruce family. Sure I an related to an author but only thing I am proud of is that my 5x great and his daughter were part of the first army to be called up for the civil war by the Minnesota Governor at the time. Im ashamed to be part of a family during that time to serve the south and own.

That Richard III news was crazy indeed confirming the royal family genealogy that the subjects of that mitochondrial fishing expedition may have been unaware of before they were contacted🤯

I have Plantagenets in our family, but that seems like a significant number of descendants from early colonists to Connecticut, particularly Hartford, have in common.
