this is a trye story he was about to shoot them down but as he got close he noticed what was going on that they had no fight left in them so he escorted them out to the coast saving them. 50 years later they meet up and become the best of friends

his war wasn't with them personally and he knew they probably had loved ones they needed to return to. back when war had honor. that's a real human there. now a days most people seem to have lost touch with their humanity

most soldiers on any side dont want to fight, they follow orders but we would rather have peace, we will defend ourselves though, but we have followed orders which may of been good or bad but we didnt purposely seek out a fight. our goals are generally the same, protect our homes and feed our families

fun fact! after this event, Charles Brown (the pilot of the B-17) took a little while to try and find Franz (the pilot of the BF-109). they ended up becoming great friends until they died in 2008.

Stigler and Brown. Man those guys lived in a different time in life. people today could never imagine myself included. those guys really where the blood sweat and tears that shaped the world we live in now. damn disgrace to them for how it turned out
