Apparently, after more than two years of ignoring public concerns, the Government and Home Office have finally discovered that there are serious issues surrounding illegal immigration and the risks posed by some individuals arriving in the country. And what is their groundbreaking solution? A brochure. Yes, you read that correctly. A few carefully worded pages explaining to men arriving in Britain how they are expected to treat women and children. Because obviously, what was missing all this time was a leaflet. Never mind the victims. Never mind the devastating and lifelong consequences for women and children who suffer abuse. Apparently, the Government’s great deterrent is that if someone commits a serious offence, their asylum claim might be revoked. What a terrifying prospect. I’m sure criminals everywhere are trembling at the thought of an administrative consequence somewhere down the line. And now, rather than addressing the underlying problems properly, the answer appears to be to distribute people around the country and hope that spreading the problem somehow counts as solving it. What about the human rights of the victims? What about their safety, dignity and right to live without fear? Where is the risk assessment for them? After years of being told that concerns were exaggerated, we now appear to have a Government acknowledging that there are genuine risks and responding with the political equivalent of “please behave yourselves”. If this is the best this Government can come up with, perhaps they really have confused Whitehall with a circus. At least at the circus, when the clowns turn up, everyone knows what to expect. The public deserves a Government that protects its citizens, takes legitimate concerns seriously and is accountable for the consequences of its policies, not one that produces glossy brochures and congratulates itself for taking action.

We, the People, do not consent to the Home Office's Failures to uphold the integrity of our borders, allowing, nay encouraging, the arrival of military age illegal immigrant Males, harboured on our soil, without being sent back to whence they first entered Europe. WEF and Fabian policies have no place in Whitehall and the UK Government. Parliament must uphold existing Laws, and must not continue to find workarounds. When the UK Government appears to operate as a Foreign Actor, endangering the People of the United Kingdom, then the UK Government needs to be investigated. WEF Policies are not in the UK's interest. Foreign Actors, including the many Friends Of Israel, need to be dealt with. The UK Government must focus on its Accountability to the People of the United Kingdom, and preserve our Laws, Rights, and Expectations.

The problem is, deporting them from the UK doesn't stop them trying to come back and there have been cases of offenders arriving multiple times via irregular routes. You're right that there needs to be consequences with teeth, but it seems that the majority of them will only be stopped by the ➰ 🤷🏻♂️

Absolutely agree, your last point is spot on, not being offended is not a right under any circumstances. But until UK law enshrines freedom of speech to ensure difficult conversations with anyone / everyone can take place openly, this propensity to hide behind avoiding personal offense will always leave the door open to those who want to ignore what’s moral and what’s legal. Well said.

IMO the labour gov released these leaflets as a “soft landing” to begin introducing the idea that “immigration may have problems” to the country’s left wingers. It’s a mechanism, politically speaking, that will allow labour to start addressing the issue - to start to be more sensible on immigration without swathes of the left calling them racist.
