Just 35,000 passengers listed out, one killer hiding among them, and seventeen clues to find them with. Each chapter is a station on the line. Arrive, read the clue, work through the list, cross off everyone it eliminates. Whoever survives travels on. Then the next station, the next clue, another round of crossing off. The list falls fast at the beginning and then slows right down, which is the interesting part. Early on you're eliminating thousands at a time.
