@itvnews: The number of men living with prostate cancer in the UK has jumped by 100,000 since 2020, according to Macmillan Cancer Support. Around 600,000 men are now living with the disease — the most common cancer in the UK — with someone newly diagnosed every eight minutes. Doctors say one of the biggest myths is that feeling well means you can't have it, when in reality prostate cancer often develops with no early symptoms. Macmillan is urging anyone worried to speak to their GP, with men over 50, black men and those with a family history at higher risk. #ProstateCancer #MensHealth #CancerAwareness #News
How can we get checked when the GP refuses all appointments unless it’s an emergency?

Men can’t be screened unless you are of a certain age. Cancer doesn’t care your age, I don’t understand why woman and men can’t be regularly screened for breast and prostate cancer etc. Why wait until you hit a certain age?

I had no symptoms and was diagnosed by chance when I asked for a PSA test when visiting my GP for another issue. I’m now 22 weeks post prostatectomy.💪🏻

Be kind don't bully :
Maybe if you made it easier to get a Dr appointment now it would go down. Since COVID Dr surgeries have been non contact and that needs to stop now😭😭😭
