I was in North East China for two weeks, and people kept saying to me am I ready for Chinese New Year, and I thought they meant like did I have plans or was I excited to have a week off or whatever. I didn't know the whole damn city shuts down for 4 straight days and I wouldn't have access to food or water. Thankfully I had two jugs of water. They say they told him about it, but the true extent to his understanding is something we can't know.
