Replying to @Jāmie🇸🇴 #fyp #islamic_video #islam #muslim #arab #arabictiktok #History It is well known—and not up for serious debate among those familiar with early Islamic and Arab history—that the original Arabs mixed with non-Arabs on a massive scale. Whether or not today’s scholars are ready to sit down and connect all the dots is another matter entirely. But the dots are there, and the historical record is not silent. Let’s begin with the words of Ahmad Amin, a respected Egyptian historian, who bluntly observed the scale of this mixture. Speaking about the Arab conquests and their aftermath, he writes: “Practically every (Muslim) soldier had slaves and slave-girls that he used to help him with his needs. If he wanted to, he had children by the slave-girls. This all resulted in other races like Persians, Romans, Syrians, Egyptians, and Berbers entering the Arab household. The once Arab household became no longer an Arab household, but a mixed household headed by an Arab.” That last line hits hard: “The once Arab household became no longer an Arab household, but a mixed household headed by an Arab.” The significance is clear: the Arab bloodline was diluted and restructured through repeated intermarriage and enslavement of non-Arab populations, particularly women, who bore children that were only half Arab. These children became part of the society, eventually even dominating it in some cases. This process wasn’t isolated or minor. It was systemic, and it began early. Amin adds: “There were a number of births of this type due to the large number of Muslim conquests starting from the time of the Caliphate of Umar and thereafter.” But it wasn’t only Persians and Egyptians. The Arabs also absorbed large numbers of Europeans, primarily through slavery. During the height of Arab dominance, white slaves flooded the markets of the Muslim world. The association between whiteness and servitude was so strong that: “Being ‘white’ (red) almost meant being a slave because most of the Arabs’ slaves were European.” Wayne Chandler cites T.B. Irving on the sheer brutality and scale of the trade: “Between the years of 786 and 1009 Franks and Jews traded Slavs and Germans who had been taken prisoner… They made young boys into eunuchs at Verdun… The slaves were driven from France to Spain in great herds like cattle… Many women were also imported from Galacia, for their blond appearance attracted the Arab gentlemen.” That line is important: “for their blond appearance attracted the Arab gentlemen.” This wasn’t just slavery—it was integration. These women were concubines, servants, and eventually mothers to Arab-identified children. And the pattern continued across centuries. Mamadou Chinyelu quotes J.A. Rogers, stating: “Each time Yakub Al-Mansur (Moroccan ruler of the 11th century) returned to Africa from his campaigns in Europe, he did so with large numbers of white slaves.” These quotes illustrate a deliberate, large-scale, and socially accepted process by which Arabs—originally Black, as even pre-Islamic and early Islamic texts show—integrated non-Arabs into their bloodlines through conquest, slavery, and sexual relations. Over time, this changed not only the household but the entire demographic profile of what came to be called the “Arab world.” So yes, the original Arabs were Black. The fact that modern Arabs no longer reflect that is not proof of their original phenotype—it’s proof of how much mixing and integration took place. The scholarly hesitation to say it plainly does not erase the evidence. The past speaks for itself—clearly, powerfully, and unapologetically.
