@thegujjugal: 5 top food spots you MUST try in Makkah (plus an honest review of what to actually order)! 🕋 SAVE this for your next Umrah trip so you know where to eat and what to avoid! 1. @alromansiahksa — 10/10 •My order: Chicken Mandi & Kunafa •Verdict: The chicken is fall-off-the-bone tender and the kunafa is served hot! 2. Al Baraka — 8/10 •My Order: Fresh Hand-Pulled Beef Noodles •Verdict: Made right in front of you. Super cozy, rich broth, and amazing texture. But noodles were a bit over done I felt. 3. @albaik — 9/10 (Nuggets) •My Order: Chicken Nuggets (9/10), Al Baik Sandwich (6/10), Spicy Chicken Burger (7/10) •Verdict: The ultimate staple, but stick to the iconic nuggets and garlic sauce! 4. @karakexpressksa — 7/10 •My Order: Fried/Broast Chicken Biryani •Verdict: Generous portions and crispy fried chicken served over spiced rice. 5. @rossoksa — 10/10 (Pizza) •My Order: Loaded Specialty Pizza (10/10), White Sauce Pasta (6/10) •Verdict: The pizza crust and loaded toppings are incredible after a long day of walking. 📌Honorable Mention — @altazaj_fakieh Review: Tried their Broast and Chicken Tikka. The Broast was solid (8/10), but the Chicken Tikka was surprisingly disappointing (3/10). Super dry, so stick to the crispy broast instead! 💡 Insider Travel Tips & Hacks: ⏰ Avoid the Rush: Clock Tower and food court lines peak 20–45 minutes right after all prayers. Go 45 minutes before prayer or wait an hour after to grab a seat easily. 📱 Delivery Secret: Use delivery apps like HungerStation or Keeta to get Al Baik or Al Romansiah delivered straight to your hotel lobby to save 40+ minutes of waiting in line. 👥 Portion Control: Mandi platters at Al Romansiah are huge! One full portion easily feeds 2–3 people, making it super cost-effective for families. 📌 SAVE this reel for your Umrah planning & SHARE with your travel squad! #makkah #makkahfood #umrah #umrahguide #foodreels
