@trial_trackers: Jurors heard Duane “Keffe D” Davis in his own words again on Day 5 of his trial for Tupac Shakur’s murder — this time through interviews he gave for Death Row Chronicles. Showrunner Mario Diaz testified that Davis’ 2017 interviews were not scripted and that Davis did not control the documentary’s final edit. Jurors then saw excerpts where Davis discussed Tupac’s attack on his nephew Orlando Anderson at the MGM Grand, events surrounding the shooting and why he decided to speak publicly about the case. When asked why he was talking, Davis said he wanted to “get the truth out.” Leonard Jefferson also testified about taking a photograph of Tupac and Suge Knight shortly before the shooting, while Mike Dorsey described his work recording and researching the documentary interviews.
