Travis is why you don’t own exotic animals. There’s exceptions, but no one needs to own a chimp. You cannot overpower an animal like this meaning the ONLY thing left if to kill them when something goes wrong. That isn’t fair when you KNEW this was inevitable and they would lose control.

Listen, the lady who owned Travis did a ton of stuff wrong, but I don't think it's fair to say she "kinda" tried to stop him. she attacked him with a kitchen knife and was screaming for the police to shoot him. He was a fully grown chimp, what was she gonna do?
