One of my biggest complaints about sm2 was this, the writing. I understand it's a video game, but Spiderman 1 had a completely different and grounded feel, with the characters acting more natural as well. An example would be if you told sm1 Peter to do this he would say what no I'd be seen and that'd be it, also just a teenage boy squaring up in a park against 6 criminals like he's Bruce Lee in the flashback mission would totally get his ass caught
