Just because you vibe coded something does not mean you charge cheap. Stop this immediately. You are solving someone's problem. And they do not care how you arrived at the solution. They care that it works. Yet people using Lovable, Base44, Claude Code, and Codex are out here quoting 3,000 shillings for a landing page because they secretly believe it does not count as real development. It is development. Full stop. Let me give you honest figures. I was recently building a landing page for the 5am Challenge, and I asked myself what I would pay someone to do it for me. My answer was between 15,000 and 30,000 shillings. For a business website with around 20 pages, do not go below 60,000. For something complex like a blog with real functionality and a backend, do not go below 90,000. And here is why that last one matters. When you vibe code something, you are not using a WordPress template where the platform handles bugs for you. When issues arise in your project, you are the one who must be up and running fixing it. That maintenance responsibility is part of what you are charging for. Same for a learning management system. Do not undercharge because the tools made you faster. Speed is not a reason to reduce your price. It is a reason to take more clients. The client bought a working solution. Price the solution. Not your effort. Stop underselling yourself. If you want to learn this properly, check out click2skill.com/vibecoding and learn to build with Lovable and Claude. Charge what it is worth. — Elvis W.
