Yay! Congrats. Be aware that meds that impact cyp3A4 can impact guanfacine it's a very sensitive substrate.

I was doing so well on it. my bp tanked by 20 points by the 4th day, which isnt normal. your posts helped my pharmocophobia and got me to try it in the first place though so thank you!

I am on day five of ER and it’s fantastic!!! I only have had one baby adrenaline dump. But the nervous jitteriness is gone.

I’m day 9 and it has caused me a stupid amount of dizziness upon standing and walking. I’ve had to call in sick to work all week and my neuro thinks it’s due to me having a combo of hyper and neuro POTS. Guanfacine takes care of the hyper but then causes blood to pool more. As of today I’m trialing Midodrine stacked with it.

I’m on week 2 of 1mg ER and loving it! My heart rate seems to be lower and it has drastically calmed my nervous system. However, I am super tired during the day and my BP has been averaging 90/60. Hoping this is temporary. Thank you for originally posting about it. I never would’ve known about it if it wasn’t for your post.

I just started the immediate release! Are you taking it at night? Lowkey I don’t think me and my PCP ever discussed when to take it but I think night is the correct answer so that’s what I’ve been doing??? 😅
