But posting this lifestyle without the actual circumstances behind it isn’t just incomplete; it’s misleading. In a desirable beach community in 2026, this isn’t the default outcome of “hard work and good choices.” Pretending otherwise invites the exact reaction you’re seeing in the comments. If family money, inherited property, or an unusually lucky starting hand made this possible, then own it. There’s zero shame in that. What is dishonest is letting the post float as pure merit while the rest of us reverse-engineer why our own grind never produces the same result. Without that distinction, people who are playing an entirely different game are left asking the wrong question: “What am I doing wrong?” when the real answer is often just “You weren’t dealt the same cards.” That clarity would make the whole thing land better for everyone.
