I used to take child support payments and we had a guy come in to pay $2,000. I told him he was already thousands OVERPAID. He said he knew, but his baby’s mother needed a car and he wanted to make sure his kids were safe. She lived with their kids in a whole other state. I wanted to high five him lol

I don't do court ordered child support even though my son live with me full time. However his father sends $500/month without me asking plus takes care of anything my baby could ever need or want (withing reason). He sent me a text letting me know he already took care of all of his school supplies and all of his back to school shopping. Just because we were better friends than spouses doesn't mean our child or us have to suffer.
