We got married on March 8, 2024, and for the past two years, he has been my whole life and the love of my life.Two weeks ago, my husband was taken into ICE custody, and since then, everything has been extremely difficult. Tomas has become sick. He has been throwing up, has high blood pressure, trouble breathing because of his lung problems, a sore throat, and pain in his heart. He isn’t eating much because the food is difficult for him, and he has been sleeping on the floor, which is causing him terrible back pain.We only get about 15 minutes to talk to him, and those calls are heartbreaking. He misses me and his family so much, and I miss him every single day. I cry at night looking at our pictures because all I want is for my husband to come home safe and be with the people who love him. We are raising money to help pay for a lawyer, as well as basic things Tomas needs while he is away, like food, phone service, and personal hygiene items. I’m not working right now, so getting through this has been incredibly difficult, and we need all the help we can get.There is a possibility that Tomas could be moved even farther away from us, which makes this even more frightening. 💔 If you can donate, no matter how small, it would mean more to us than I can ever put into words.
