Whether foreign or not, those receiving financial assistance face various hardships, and there are serious reasons behind their needs. It seems to me that too much attention is focused on foreigners. Why not try speaking with Japanese recipients of financial assistance? You might find that they are the ones truly in need of help. Many Japanese people rely on the government for their livelihood; some even engage in "sham divorces" to secure financial aid while living independently without working. However, what is often overlooked is that in many of these cases, the couples maintain healthy family relationships even after the "divorce." Many of them continue to receive government support while ceasing pension and tax payments. While many foreign recipients of financial assistance actually work, very few Japanese recipients do so, relying instead entirely on government support. Many foreigners receiving financial assistance are hardworking individuals who contribute significantly to society; this is truly admirable. They believe that by receiving assistance in addition to their wages, they can help other families in need. Foreigners are compassionate people who care about those facing difficulties.
