I want to talk abt this song bc I don’t think people interpret it the same way I do, to me this song is not romantic what so ever. All I hear when I listen to this song is grief, and a yearning for something that destroyed you to a point you can’t recover physically. A need that can’t be satisfied the same way it originally was ever again. (I’m an animal trapped in your hot car) relying on someone who doesn’t feel the need to care when all you do is care for them( you are all I need) , and as much as you want to give up the hope, you physically can’t. I’ve thought about this song a lot and the way you play feels like a physical representation of my perspective on this song.
