The ending of part 1 enraged me so I h*te read part 2 which I’m so glad I did, and it was brilliant that she switched POVs at the end bc honestly I would never have trusted cas if not. Also this book is very similar in themes and settings to Twinkies & beefcake (which is like if oleander and the tragedy of Felix & Jake had a baby or shared a cousin 😁) more coming of age than spicy romance but if you survived oleander I think you would really enjoy T&B

I was not okay for a few days after finishing Oleander. Emotional hangover. Then again all Scarlette Drake books have left me in that state. Soooo good!
