Bellamy 30 ACCT-A-257919 is currently considered urgent and at risk of euthanasia due to medical concerns. Bellamy must have confirmed placement with a RESCUE PARTNER by Sunday, August 23rd 2026 at 10AM. Should Bellamy's medical or behavioral status change, his urgency and timeline for placement may also change. Bellamy is a handsome boy who came to ACCT Philly after being rescued from a hoarding situation with more than 35 other cats. Understandably, the shelter environment has been overwhelming for him, and he is currently a very fearful and shut-down kitty. When approached, Bellamy may retreat or try to create distance, though he has shown some curiosity about people by coming toward the front of his kennel when the door is closed. He will likely need a patient, quiet environment and someone willing to give him plenty of time to decompress and build trust at his own pace. Bellamy is also in need of urgent dental care. He has severe periodontal disease and is missing many of his teeth, with the remaining teeth severely diseased. He will need a dental procedure with extractions to improve his comfort and overall quality of life. His ear mites have been successfully treated and resolved, and his heart, lungs, abdomen, and lymph nodes were otherwise normal on exam. Bellamy is hoping to find a rescue partner who can give him the quiet environment, patience, medical care, and time he needs to feel safe and begin to blossom. Bellamy has been through a lot, and we would love to give him the chance to discover what life outside of a hoarding situation can look like. He was in the back of his kennel and put his face in the corner when I pet him. Per staff 8/19: Bellamy was towards the front of his kennel. I went to take a photo with the door still shut and he walked right up to the front, appearing to be seeking interaction. I opened the kennel door and he quickly retreated to the back of his kennel. Due to being in a top kennel, I went to get a ladder and brought a Churu for him too. He was shrinking away as I reached in to hold the Churu close to him. He did not attempt to eat any of it and lip licked a few times. I pet him and he leaned away with his ears down while lip licking. I continued petting for a few seconds. His eyes were squinted and he flinched a little each time I touched him. He began to scoot backwards along the back side of his kennel attempting to create more distance. Per staff 8/6: Was running back and forth inside trap trying to get out. Eyes wide and ears alert Per staff 8/6: Removed five cats from inside home. Receita de pão caseiro sem sovar (cenário simples de cozinha) Ingredientes 500 g de farinha de trigo (aprox. 3 e 1/2 xícaras) 10 g de fermento biológico seco (1 sachê) 1 colher de sopa de açúcar 1 colher de chá rasa de sal 350 ml de água morna 2 colheres de sopa de azeite ou óleo Modo de preparo Em uma tigela grande coloque a água morna, o açúcar e o fermento. Misture levemente e deixe descansar por 5 a 10 minutos até formar espuma. Adicione o azeite e o sal. Misture. Adicione toda a farinha e misture com uma colher até formar uma massa úmida e pegajosa. Não precisa sovar. Cubra a tigela com pano ou plástico e deixe descansar por 1 hora ou até dobrar de tamanho. Após crescer, mexa a massa levemente apenas para retirar o excesso de ar. Coloque a massa em uma forma untada ou forrada com papel manteiga. Cubra e deixe descansar por mais 30 minutos. Preaqueça o forno a 200°C por 10 minutos. Asse por 35 a 40 minutos ou até o pão ficar dourado. Deixe esfriar um pouco antes de cortar.
