We are full time for 4 years now. (Texas) We started with a cedar creek, was junk traded that in and got a KZ Durango Gold 5th Wheel 42’. Holds up great and they have many styles to choose from.

Im planning on doing full time live in just outside London ky and was thinking of the Forest River Impression 360MYR for a full time live in cause it had all the amenities I was looking for but sad to say I know nothing on what to look for like wall size or tank size so just trying to see if my choice is worth it or not or if theres a better option

Kudos. I have honestly never seen someone (esp in RV sales) to be so honest and genuine about a rig that a customer is purchasing.

as a tech, the best advice I can give people is to go talk to the techs. I don't give a fuck about the sale. I have no skin in that game. I get paid to find things to fix. ask them which units are most profitable for them. ask them which ones they like getting assigned for PDIs. ask them the construction questions. only talk to sales questions about what fit your needs. talk only to service about anything build quality related. also the best way to get a tech to be honest with you is to pay them for their time. hand them $50 before asking them questions.

my husband and I are looking to do full time camping starting next year. we just went to "window shop" some campers today. we narrowed it down to travel trailers or toy haulers. we saw one called Grand Design Reflection I think. it looked like everything we wanted. it's only us plus two small dogs and one cat. would this be good for full time?

Hell has froze over. Thank you for being honest. I wish someone would have been this honest with me when I bought mine. Had it for 10 years and it fell apart.

My big issue is counter space. There's never enough.

Were full timers. The biggest thing we had to figure out was clothes storage. We had to go back and find a 2001 Fleetwood Puma 37D that actually has a closet across the entire rear of the camper. Bunkhouse front is our storage room. Still not a great unit for extreme hot or cold but we figured that out. For a 26 year old camper this thing is great! We will upgrade once we find one thats better. Problem is nobody makes one thats affordable.

It’s on my shortlist. Maybe 5 years out. Right now the old lady and I are renting and doing little jaunts through the mountains. So far so good! What’s some other considerations?

My hubby and I have been living in a rv for about 5 years. One we custom built. So we have learned to let go of stuff. And learned to live without RUNNING water, we used 5 gallon jugs, propane, one rv we put in wood burning stove (yes put safety wall)
