Nathan, lovingly called “Nate Dawg,” passed away at only 23 after living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a progressive condition that slowly weakened his body and affected nearly every part of his life. His mother spent years beside him as his caregiver, protector, advocate, and greatest supporter. Through painful days and difficult battles, Nate continued to show remarkable strength and resilience. He shared parts of his journey online, allowing people around the world to celebrate his victories, pray during his struggles, and grow to love his joyful spirit. His mother remained beside him until the end, holding the hand of the son she had devoted her life to caring for.
