“Who does she think she is?” That’s an odd question. There doesn’t appear to be any further info beyond “he gave her his fave squishy” so to insinuate that she took his kind-heartedness for granted or had malicious or careless intentions are all assumptions. We don’t know if she knew how important it was to him or what it meant to him or if she knew he liked her or if she was disregarding him or any other details. She could have given the other boy the squishy also wanting to be kind-hearted for all we know. Also, giving someone a gift doesn’t grant you some kind of access or special privilege to them or pact with them. If you give a gift, you give it freely, to make the other person happy. If it makes them happy to give it away, that’s their prerogative. You gave it to them! Their happiness should make you happy otherwise what was the real purpose of the gift? Anyway, it’s super nice of you to give this little guy a ton of squishies. I just thought it was unfair to villainize the other child along the way. They’re both children and are learning to navigate life.
