are you not getting it? she's not saying that men are some kind of hivemind ganging up on every woman, it's literally true that it was normalized for a long time (and still is partly) that girls should try to be pretty, skinny not muscular and do housework instead of harder jobs- at my school I notice that sporty girls are ashamed of their muscles, when boys flaunt it. I'm no man hater, this isn't the fault of the average man but I do think a lot of girls are steered away from being strong whilst men are encouraged
