About a year ago I learned that Costco will sometimes stock a few of the Mason Pearson brushes. I used the brand website to read about each type and narrow down which ones I was interested in. Then my bf was tasked with monitoring the Costco website religiously for a restock and remembering which types I was okay with him buying. I told him the Handy b3 was my first choice but a b4 was okay if that was the only option (and then I would plot on one day buying a pocket sized boar bristle only version lol) On my work trip to NYC several months ago I also stopped by the CO Bigelow to see them in person so I could feel more confident in which style I liked. So far I can tell it’s distribution of oil is SIGNIFICANTLY better than my Wet brush, or any other brush I’ve ever had for that matter, and it is incredible at detangling my VERY fine hair. I need to use half as much pressure I normally would to get the bristles through my hair layers and onto my scalp. Is this brush a necessity? Absolutely not. But do I think it’s worth the hype? 100% #masonpearson #finehair #haircare #hairtok
