the reality is all parties suffer after divorce. Dress it how you want, the kids cannot stand the selfishness of the parents leaving the lovely family home, the partner on the receiving end is devastated, the leaving partner suffers mental health later missing thr children and the normal routine. Divorce is a bigger disaster than a bad marriage unless there is abuse or a serious event tragedy happened. its a lie to say divorce is a good outcome. it never ever is.

A close friend met a single mum, 2 young children. He fellin love with the children. She broke it off with him, and now 3 years later he still hasn't seen the kids again. This is despite him taking great care of the kids. It happens a lot. 🤦♀️
