I love this and fully agree. When I have a takeout coffee every now and then as a treat (as I’m saving every penny right now), it’s something I enjoy so so much more and appreciate the treat!

I did think re you spending less but buying a takeaway when i saw your video.. but obviously you only know your exact financial position so know if a takeaway is still in the budget.. personally i would probably cut out anything like that for a short period of time if i was needing to budget. But we all prioritise what’s important in life differently 😁

You’re allowed to have odd takeaway.. you still have to enjoy life to a degree if saving too. Sometimes our sanity comes first. Also means you will probably stick to it better without the super tight restrictions

We put a lot of pressure a few years ago on saving money on our food. But we then realized actually it bought us joy to eat good food 😂 I think food is expensive no matter where you buy it and sometimes it’s worth paying extra and letting someone else cook it!
