In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, canola oil, milk, and eggs. Mix until smooth and fully combined. 2. Divide the batter evenly between two greased 7-inch cake pans. Bake at 350°F for 23–28 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool completely. 3. To make the ganache, place the chopped chocolate in a medium bowl and pour the warm heavy cream over top. Let sit for a minute, then stir until the chocolate is completely melted and the ganache is smooth and glossy. 4. Remove the cakes from the pans and carefully trim the tops to create two even layers.
