I worked at Victoria secret and my favorite was when they would be standing in a long time for several minutes and had more than enough time to check the price/size of their item and when they would get to me, they’d hand each individual item to me and go “how much is this” FOR EVERY SINGLE ITEM. LOOK AT THE TAG. And then why I got done cashing them out, they’d continue to stand there and look at their receipt and some people would whip out a calculator to make sure all the sale items were correctly priced and their total was correct. Like I know I was young but I’m not stupid and I knew how to do my job and the register does the math for me (not that I can’t do basic math) And If they didn’t understand something on the receipt, they’d shove it in my face and freak out about it. Like you’re just stupid Or they would ask “can you just make sure those are all a size ___* like why didn’t you check when you picked it up. Or checked when you were waiting in line. People refuse to do anything themselves and need their hand held through EVERYTHING. And then when you do help them, they question your intelligence. Truly don’t know how people made it so far in life. Thinking about some customers i encountered working retail still makes me mad.
