@ladbibleireland: Irish actor and former rugby player Peter Claffey is reportedly being eyed to play Beast in Marvel Studios’ upcoming ‘X-Men’ reboot. Claffey rose to fame this year after starring in the lead role of Ser Duncan the Tall in HBO’s ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’. Industry insider Jeff Sneider previously claimed Marvel had shown interest in Claffey for Dr. Hank McCoy, aka Beast. UK production tracker Filmbase has listed the new X-Men movie as potentially filming either in Ireland or at Pinewood Studios. The reboot will be the first standalone X-Men movie produced by Marvel Studios for the MCU, with Thunderbolts* filmmaker Jake Schreier set to direct. #ireland #irish #irishnews #viral #peterclaffey
