so I learned this little trick that works well for me. I will lay the piece down on a towel and spray it well with C22. I will let that remover sit for about 5 to 10 minutes. Then I take cotton balls and loosen them up a bit and dab them all over the adhesive. The loose cotton will stick to all the glue and then I let it sit for another 10 to 15 minutes and dab it with cotton again. Then I use an old credit card and gently scrape it off. All the glue comes off much easier and isn't messy at all. Then I will spray some rubbing alcohol on it and get the last little globbies off. then was and condition. When I was going into the salon every two weeks and having tjem do it I couldn't get my prices to last more than 6 weeks before replacing them. Since I started doing it myself the same pieces last me almost 4 months now.

You really don’t have to do all this. Just spray on the adhesive remover. Let’s sit for five or 10 minutes. Use some wax paper and slide the base over the wax paper and it comes right off. Been doing this for years.

this is why lace base + tape is way better. all that hot water, remover, soap etc is stripping the color from the hair and drying the system out. Shortening the lifespan of a piece
