We didn’t know what the next days or weeks would look like — but without hesitation, we said yes. 🤍 Foster care has a way of turning your world upside down overnight. There’s no baby shower, no months of preparing, no perfectly stocked nursery. Sometimes there’s simply a phone call… and a child who needs someone to say, “You can come home with us.” So that’s what we did. 🩷 We’ve spent the last two weeks learning her, loving her, and gathering all the little things a newborn needs. And we’ve been reminded over and over that it truly takes a village.
