Over my 73 years, I’ve owned, raised and buried 17 Yorkshire Terriers. Everything you say about them is true! They also settle down when their human is truly ill or injured. They lay very close with their big, brown eyes fixed on your face for hours or days - or however long it takes for you to be back to normal. So their love for you has got healing properties! Again, their love shines through when they are quietly passing from this world. Their big, brown eyes promising that they’ll be waiting for you faithfully to show up to join them on the other side. Yorkies are the best forever friends that I’ve ever loved. 😔
