@k_camp347: What hypothetical question can cancel out the blood of Jesus? If Christ paid for your sins, stop creating scenarios where His blood suddenly becomes insufficient. Jesus paid it all. #faithalone #finishedwork #thegospel #jesuschrist #kcamp347
John 6:38-40 is eternal security from the lord himself.

truly bro, in my opinion, I think the underlying problem is they want a reason to boast. They want a reason to feel like they contributed to their transformation or salvation. It’s why we see the good fruit doctrine twisted because these people think they’re producing their own fruit. They have to measure themselves against others to feel like they have the right to judge and many times even condemn.

“What if I stop repenting?”
“What if I fall back into sin?”
“What if I die immediately after committing a sin?”
“What if I don’t persevere enough?”
We can create hypothetical scenarios all day, but eventually we have to ask a much bigger question:
Did Jesus actually pay for all of your sins or not?
Our hypothetical questions don’t change the sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice. Sin still has real consequences in this life, and grace is never an excuse to pursue sin. But the believer’s eternal life rests upon Christ’s finished work, not our ability to perfectly manage every possible scenario.
So let me ask you: What hypothetical situation could you create that would make the blood of Jesus insufficient?

We are born into sin. We will always be sinners. Sin is a characteristic of being human. We are all from Adam. Grace is enough for us.

If the Heart is so desperately wicked, it is impossible for us to know when we sin at times. So to claim one loses their salvation but others don't, doesn't realize just how desperately wicked they are. With a heart so wicked, how can one ever even come back to saving faith once lost? Or Even still, how can one even stay in right standing for a fraction of a second? We are desperately wicked, from one Nano-second to the next, does one really suggest that we can keep our salvation for a substantial length of time. Not only does one not know how desperately wicked one is, one has such a poor view of the efficacy of Christ's atoning work. This is standing on pharisaical ground, dangerous Territory.

1 Cor 10:1-10 has entered the chat. Do you not know the destroyer passed over them in Egypt just to spin the block in the wilderness? I really want you to study the similarities btw the wilderness generation and how you’d allow the churches to look. “For 40 years I loathed that generation…therefore I swore in my wrath, ‘They shall not enter my rest’”. They had initial faith, the blood of the lamb, baptized by faith into Moses, ate and drank from Christ & had the spirit among them….yet the grieved the spirit and became God’s enemy and they’re not gonna enter God’s rest, despite all that.
