They probably canceled the idea because luna’s cherry delight skin was planned to be the first mythic ever in the game but then the idea got scrapped and that was ages ago

There always used to be 5 tiers, the proficiency symbols used to match the skin rarities. The centurion symbol used to be gold and the lord used to be red. But it could still happen because now lord is gold and champion is red. I think mythic skins would have unique voice acting, ability effects, and ultimates. Like if they did an entire visual and audio re-haul for Spiderman to make him Spiderman 2099 that would be cool

i can definitely see this happening and it being reskins for certain characters that are similar enough to who we have now but maybe not unique enough to be their own character or due to roster space (ironclad hulk, dr doom iron man, miles morales spider-man ect) i don’t really get it if legendary already have vfx and recolors, what else would they do
