@kwetheone: Imagine our markets looking like this. 🇬🇭 Same traders. Same energy. Same culture. Just cleaner, safer and more organized. We’ve normalized the chaos for so long that sometimes we forget it doesn’t actually have to be this way. Other African countries are modernizing their markets. Why can’t we? #ghana #nigeria #africa #businessmindset
The markets in Benin look so incredible. It’s not far from Ghana- why can’t we have the same?

We need attitudinal change. Went to Kejetia Dubai when it first opened and the place was really organised. Went back recently and traders have taken up parts of the walkway

my mum used to say "The people who are running the municipal assemblies don't even live in clean properties themselves so how can you expect them to help clean the country or city" Those that have been in charge of hygiene need to be exposed to cleanliness themselves. The sad part, if we come to help they will pull us down. The only way things will change is when a new city or town is built as an example. Then if it works, roll it out throughout the nation. Privatize the municipal assemblies.

I think Ghana could definitely look like this. I think sometimes Ghanaians just get so used to the way things are being done that change becomes difficult. Honestly, it just takes one person in charge who is willing to do things differently to make a REAL difference. But that’s a conversation people don’t really want to hear

You are right and I think I have said it before it takes local people to care about their community and not wait on governments to fix it but rather work together. I don't see people reusing bags for instance but yet this is a simple thing or taking rubbish home instead of throwing it

Benin looks like the AI version its beautiful clean well maintained. Probably one of the cleanest West African country. This is possible for Ghana but gov enforcement is necessary.
