Beef oxidation. The inside is exposed to air when it’s ground up so it darkens a bit but the plastic wrap is so tight it prevents the outside from getting enough air exposure to darken. All beef does it. It’s completely normal. Hope that helps

The meat is old. They use red dye to make it appear fresh. All grocery stores do it so you’ll buy it

It’s either not real meat, maybe it’s the horse meat trump is buying, or sometimes I swear they use old meat and then put the fresh around it to hide it because they don’t want to lose the money. But guess what? I return it whenever it looks like that and make the butcher do it in front of me.

as a ex butcher the inside of the meat hasn't got any Oxygen leak crumple it up leave it out it'll turn red again
