Not me sobbing over this. My parents were the only ones who used to celebrate my clean date. They both passed last year, so I have no one to celebrate my 17 years coming up. Your kids love you so much you can tell that in both boys!

my daughter told me I would never be anything to her, that i might as well just stop trying, but i knew i had to prove that I'm not just saying it's different this time, I would never go back to doing rugs, I'll be 6 years in October and I have a beautiful relationship with her, she is my best friend truly, don't give up hope,we do recover ❤️

As a daughter of an addict that inevitably lost her dad to his addiction this makes me sob… I just know his anger stemmed from unconditional love. He wanted nothing less than for you to win your battle but, that didn’t come with battles of his own and I just know even through his battles, he had never ending faith in you.. Thank you for proving him right. 🤍
