ESPECIALLY when you have connective tissue issues, which is like 99% of women who fall into your categories!

This is me. Also have MCAS, pots, hEDs, and other things. It’s exhausting. How do I help this?

Can I form a group for us. I have nobody. I need people to talk to. I’m an independent peer reviewed researcher. I have 22 papers discussing metacognition the theory of mind, the heart problem, the binding problem, and a lot of other things that have to do with human beings and our place in the universe. I would love to be able to discuss this stuff with people, but nobody talks to me on my level, nobody even knows what metacognition is half the time.

my interception has gotten insane since I started healing my nervous system. I can feel my fluids move around my body, I can feel tissues moving around inside me and doctors don't believe me.

Ah but you see, the ADHD ensures I seesaw between feeling everything & nothing while the connective tissue issues keep the proprioception offline, and the poor hamster running the console in my brain is just trying her best 🥲😬

Hear me out, this is why lifting weights helps my nervous system so much. It gets me out of my mind and into my body.

For me, it can sometimes feel like an out of body or dissociation feeling. One part of me is talking and doing normal things while another part of me is watching. It's a very odd feeling and I really don't like it, anyone know how to get my brain to stay inside my body at all times? 😝

How do you explain grounding to someone like this because they are so deeply connected to their thinking that they don’t seem aware of their body AT ALL!

Yes oh my gosh. And the healing modality is incredibly nonconventional. 😭 I’m over here doing qi gong, red light therapy, fascia release, ribbon dancing and teaching myself how to breath regularly again. 🫣 a klonopin could fucking never. 😌

It’s so challenging to be so hyper aware of what’s happening in my mind and body, especially when I assign meaning to everything/need to figure it out.

You get it. Staying in my body has been the most challenging thing to do my whole life. Somatic moving, dancing and breath work are my life lines.
