The live-action Moana is a shot for shot remake and it’s not as good as the original. Tangled is my favorite princess movie and I’m very excited for it. Keep the original songs, but add some new ones like Beauty and the Beast did. My only hope is that it does the original justice, but also original in and of itself.

I saw someone in a comment section earlier get all bent out of shape over being told to watch Matilda because it's a kids movie 😭 like why are we not allowed to enjoy things as adults?? Animated movies have so much art and depth, and even if something is "made" for kids that doesn't mean we as adults can't find that joy in the movies!

i personally think that making a live action movie shot for shot is just wasting money and time. I see live action remakes as an opportunity to expand on the original story, like Cinderella did with the childhood scenes and the Prince, and how The Little Mermaid gave Eric a backstory. it shouldn't copy, but improve and add more heart to the story and characters

i dont particularly want live action remakes but I will watch one when they come out and if they change some of the story that is what makes it worth watching, absolutely love OUAT for exactly that, original characters in a new universe

Miss good live action based off the books… and other movies Disney made… from Josie Foster, Julie Andrews, Dick Van D, Mary Taylor Moore, Hallie Mills etc… Treasure Island, Pollyanna, Swiss Robinson Family, etc am literally watch the Disney classic movies 🍿 💞
