my mom just sold my childhood house and my backyard had the biggest most beautiful tree that was planted when I was born and grew with me. the day I had to say goodbye I genuinely cried and hugged my tree and the leaves reached down and touched my back. I will never forget it for my entire life.

I was laying in my hammock under my Japanese maple. I told her alllll about my abusive partner that I was separating from. The next day, he came over and we were both under the tree. Out of nowhere- a glob of sticky goo feel on him. No birds or squirrels around. Nothing on me. I’ve spent hundreds of hours under this tree. I looked up , smiled and thanked her 💗 🌲

Just a loose concept here, but perhaps since some trees live thousands of years, and are tapped into the earth, the concept of time as it relates to our human lives cannot be understood so past, present and future to trees might be collapsed vs how we perceive time. wtf did I just say hahah

omg i had a favourite tree in my primary school that i used to hang out with and the trees name was frozen and i felt very comforted by it and i used to bring my lunch and leave some for the tree, its like 5-10 minutes from my house,, i completely forgot about it until now,, i’m gonna go back to it soon,, but will it be angry because i haven’t been there in about 10 years

In our Indigenous culture, tobacco plays an important role in offerings to all of nature, but there is an emphasis about offering trees tobacco. Tell them all of your troubles but also your hopes and dreams. This is an old tradition and practice in the Native American communities.

I got HUGGED by a tree once, I had a massive headache so I laid down under the big tree in our backyard to take a break from screens, the branches were NOT low enough to reach me they were like 20 feet high above me growing upwards, I fell asleep on accident and when I woke up, the branches above me were caught in my hair and clothes some were wraped around my forehead like a bandana, i repeat those branches were NOT long or low enough to touch me cuz when I laid down, there was NOTHING above me and that tree was TALL ASF and the branches point UP not down, so its very confusing as to how the side i slept under had branches suddenly pointing down towards me to the point they got wrapped in my hair and body, it was crazy, my headache was completely GONE and i felt so renewed and energized, as if the tree lowered itself to hug and heal me. To this day I still can't explain it. I laid down the next day to test if the branches actually do touch the ground and they geniunely DONT. They are 20 feet up there. I can't explain how they got down to me except that trees can actually move.

Mycelium connects everything in nature it is a network of fungi and we only recently even learned about it. The trees know if one tree is suffering they will purposely send it what it needs and give less to others who don't need it as much. It is a magical thing and I am sure it's spiritual! Go sit in the woods either bare skin or natural fabric and ask the trees to read your akashic records if they want to and then they can provide you some information.
