It makes sense to choose a D.O. over an MD if you got a scholarship. It makes a difference especially when you become an attending. This cycle was rough for D.O. schools as well. NYITCOM for example had an over admittance issue which led to a lot of rejection of capable students. Which explains why you were able to get MD schools but still get rejected by some D.O. As a incoming D.O. student i wish you the best of luck
