Current info from Canada; we "almost" had a trade deal last night and now we have a full on 50% tarriff trade war. The USA did that annoying "Art of the Deal" pressure tactic of adding a bunch of BS in the 11th hour. And our PM isnt stupid, so he walked away from the table. these werent little things, this was serious overstepping. He's permanently damaged the Canadian US trade relationship, we are actively seeking out alternative trade relationships. I dont think trump understood the goodwill and friendly neighbour rates that he just spit on.
