@ny1: New York City's revolutionary history was on full display in Prospect Park Saturday with a reenactment of the Battle of Brooklyn - the Revolutionary War’s largest battle, fought 250 years ago. Actors assembled in the park, sporting historically accurate colonial uniforms, to play out a reenacted conflict between American, British and German troops, surrounded by fife and drum and the firing of muskets. It's been 50 years since Prospect Park last hosted a reenactment of the Battle of Brooklyn this large.
