@carolinanolasco13: 🆘🚨2 DAYS TO LIVE! CHANCE DIES ON MONDAY 8/24🚨🆘 Chance is about 4 years old and was surrendered a month ago. No reason is listed and no owner surrender notes left, but we heard he was brought in with a female dog who is no longer at the shelter. Chance has glowing notes from volunteers. Everyone finds him to be mellow, easy to handle, and a super friendly boy. The groomer recently bathed him and said he was lovely! They said he was a happy boy! Chance recently went on the @larpbo and Bully Breed Bunch pack walk with 50 other dogs. The volunteer handling him said he did “exceptionally well.” “Clearly well socialized dog. Calm, polite, well-adjusted in public” are the notes she left him. He rode well in the car, was unfazed and polite in the large group of dogs and people, and was mellow, friendly, and affectionate. Chance showed he’s ready to be back in a home! Chance has been in playgroup 10 times and was described as tolerant 6 of those outings, including his 3 most recent playgroups. He’s low energy and prefers his space. They noted he does best in smaller playgroups. He likes to keep to himself and can give over reactive corrections for space. He’s euth-listed due to a playgroup incident earlier this month, even though he’s been doing better and has been described as tolerant his last few outings. Another dog got assertive with him and he gave her an over reactive correction and bit her in the face. Chance needs out by MONDAY 8/24 at 8AM. He’s available for foster, adoption, or rescue. The shelter is closed to the public on Mondays, so adoptions/fostering must be done by Sunday 5pm, otherwise you must find a rescue to pull for you or email and ask for them to hold him until Tuesday.
