it's funny how they always believe that there is just never gonna be a misuse of these things from the government, because the government has never did anything wrong. Like it's already weird that most flock cameras in the city I live is in most frequently diverse areas that consists mostly of Latino and Black people, and less frequent in the more "nicer" areas. This isn't even a new revelation with flock cameras either. Cops have done over surveillance of black neighborhoods for years because of racial/algorithmic biases. It's a main reason why statistics are so skewed and can never be looked at face value, but yk. Not everyone has the critical thinking skills of knowing the difference between correlation and causation.

Police don’t prevent crimes! Cameras don’t alert them in real time. If someone is going to shoot up a school, the camera will be great for trial evidence. That’s it.

I literally got an Amber alert this morning abt a missing person. Why didn’t they just use the flock cameras? Genuine deadass question too. They spent all that time and money to scan us so why don’t they use them instead of sending a giant alert that more often gets the missing/kidnapped person killed than saved
