@askacatholic: Having atheist friends means casually getting hit with a philosophical question about existence, morality, free will, suffering, or the meaning of life… and suddenly I need to consult 2,000 years of Christian theology 😂 “Hold up, let me get back to you.” Immediately opens Scripture. But seriously, Christianity isn’t a faith that tells us to be afraid of difficult questions. Catholics have wrestled with some of the deepest questions about God, existence, reason, morality, and human nature for centuries. Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and thinkers like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas show that faith and reason aren’t enemies.
