We shouldn't have to work harder to get our basic needs met 😳 that's an npc comment. It's exactly the same here in the UK 💯

It is true. $34 an hour in 2017, and OT made $110k year, but a family in Illinois struggled. There is no savings, no vacation and no investments. At the end of the day, the rich wouldn’t tie their shoes and consider going to work for that.

This idea that hard work matters has been absolutely lost among many young people today. If “working hard” means working 8-hour days at an entry-level job for a year without a personal development plan, then expecting the same benefits as someone who has spent 10 years building skills, experience, and expertise is madness.

So if you do not know how to manage your money and live small it is your fault. My kid makes 28 an hour plus 10 hours of overtime a week able to save and put money in his 401 K and max out his IRA living in a 500 square foot studio because that is all he needs and doing just fine. Hell you CC an make a thousand dollars an hour and still over spend.

You get a job, you see a number and you get excited. Numbers don’t add up, job wants more work, you still can’t afford much and you’re wondering why you’re still stuck in life... WITH A JOB.

no matter what you make you'll have to spend... a new truck 25 years ago wasn't 100k dollars why ? because it only cost what the majority can afford. now apply that logic to literally every purchase you make. im no economist, but it started with min wage increase for a "living wage" a noble cause but toxic for consumers
if you had a million forks youll never eat the rich now good luck !
