@inhispania: One of the most used verbs in Spanish… and one of the most irregular! 👇🏻 Test yourself before saying the forms out loud. 🟡 PRESENTE Yo → voy Tú → vas Él / Ella → va Nosotros → vamos Vosotros → vais Ellos / Ellas → van 🟡 PAST SIMPLE (Pretérito indefinido) Yo → fui Tú → fuiste Él / Ella → fue Nosotros → fuimos Vosotros → fuisteis Ellos / Ellas → fueron 🟡 FUTURO Yo → iré Tú → irás Él / Ella → irá Nosotros → iremos Vosotros → iréis Ellos / Ellas → irán A few things to keep in mind: “IR” and “SER” share exactly the same forms in the past simple: fui, fuiste, fue, fuimos, fuisteis, fueron Context is the only thing that tells them apart. The future, on the other hand, is completely regular, no surprises: ir → iré, irás, irá, etc. 🤔 How many did you get right? If you got them all, the verb “IR” is officially yours.
