It’s when you’re in your twenties that you usually still have everyone from your childhood (if you’re lucky of course) so honestly, living at home and getting to spend so much time with them? I don’t think that’s even remotely a bad thing. I think it’s how I want to do it, get to be a kid as long as i can, get to go to grandma’s house for holidays and have sleepovers with my cousins, watch their kids grow up, help my dad repair the porch, be there for the family reunions. I can be all independent and adulty when im 35

I moved back home in my late 20s for health reasons. I'm almost 40 and still here with my wee mum. We like each other's company and have each others back. I know when I'm an old woman, I won't regret spending all this extra time with my wee maw. I feel very fortunate!
